Time; the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole. Although this is the smart way of describing time I would say it's everything you don't want. For example, when you're running late and although you feel as though your moving like the speed of light really it's time thats going by faster than you are. That pretty much sums my my current state of life.
Flash back to four months ago when I so wisely dropped out of college, I thought I would pretty much have my life planned out by now. Now I'm not the kind of person who predicts their life out to the red velvet cushions they'd like in their three story victorian house (with a male model husband so effortlessly laying about them). But a nice idea of where my life is heading in the coming year wouldn't be to much to ask for. Apparently it is. During my time of harbouring back in my parents place I have come to achieve one great accomplishment. Finding out that skipping out on baking powder in a cookie recipe leads to flat and hard cookies; then finding out that I can indeed finish off a whole batch of flat hard cookies myself (second greatest accomplishment).
I have a fear of not having enough time to do all the things I want in my life. But I find myself wasting the very thing I fear by dreaming of everything I want instead of going out and getting it. I guess it's harder to jump into something you've wanted so long in panic that it might be less than what you expected.
Maybe I've been taking the Beatles song Let it Be too seriously. Is it suppose to take more than thirteen weeks for Mother Mary to find me speaking words of wisdom?
CONFESSION OF THE WEEK: I'm a terrible blogger and promise to post more regularly.
Im also bad at keeping promises.
Sincerely,
Prudence .
